Want2Dance

Offers the opportunity for people to get dancing at venues across the East and West Midlands. Want2Dance teaches and encourages Modern Jive. Modern Jive is a partner dance where the basic steps can be picked up easily by people of all ages in just one evening, so that whatever the music if you are at an event and there is music playing you too can get up and dance.

Why Want2Dance? - we are a small group of people who love modern jive dancing and who want to encourage others to enjoy dancing too. In the past there has been very little opportunity to dance on a Sunday. We thought we would give new and experienced dancers in The West Midlands the chance to dance on Sundays at an excellent venue.

Want2Dance (Hinckley) holds classes for beginners and intermediates every Sunday from 7:45 to 10:30p.m. with a a freestyle session following the lessons for everyone to put what they have learnt into practice. Come along enjoy good company,good exercise have fun as well as having a licensed bar on site too.  

Want2Dance (Birstall) now has the same format every Monday from 8.00 p.m. to 10.45 p.m.

At Hinckley starting in May, the first sunday of the month will be a Sunday Party Night. We will start with a beginners class and still offer a beginners refresher class but there will be no Intermediates class, just freestyle through till 10.30pm
Complimentary buns and cakes will be available after the refresher class to boost your energy levels!

Our first party night is Sunday May 4th 2008 - See you at Hinckley

Birstall will be closed for 1 day only on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May, open as normal the following week. We are looking at being open on future bank holidays (watch this space (and UK-Jive) for further information)
Please note, all other Want2Dance venues will be open as normal.
